Which countries have a much better quality of life than people usually expect?

Slovenia

Slovenia. Everyone I know who visited said it’s one of the most underrated countries in Europe. Beautiful, safe, great food, and actually affordable.

Poland seemed super family friendly, pedestrianised and green to me when I visited. The economy seemed to be doing well too.
